St. Cecilia Music Center is housed in a splendidly restored landmark building complete with its own jewel of a concert hall, Royce Auditorium. The impressive Italian Renaissance-style structure, which opened to the public in 1894, is still being used for its original purpose. Recognized far and wide as an architectural treasure the building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1971.
